Value extraction

In the last few major technology revolutions viz. PC, Semiconductor, Internet and Mobility, it was not possible to directly invest, assign, derive, measure, and extract value to/from the platforms. The protocols were mostly open source and free e.g. Linux, MOS, TCP/IP, SMTP, Android. Hence, this led to centralized private companies capturing and extracting maximum value and passing very little to none to the participants viz. developers, users, intermediaries. e.g. Microsoft, Intel, Google, FB, Apple, Samsung, NVIDIA.. For the first time, the value in the form of token is integral and inherent part of the new revolutionary platform - Blockchain. Hence, it open doors and opportunities for all everyone including users, developers, participants, investors to derive value. The early adopters betting on the right blockchain and applications will stand to gain the most. Imagine if you could have invested in PC, semiconductor, internet, mobility platform during its initiation and companies who built on top of it had to pay royalty to you for using it. Wouldn’t that have been wonderful! :-)
